This stage requires careful coordination, monitoring, finalising site logistics, manufacturing building systems and management.

For fire engineering, it includes undertaking construction queries, review compliance of proposed fire safety systems with the specification.

GBFE typical scope of works for Stage 5 Detailed Design Fire Strategy is as follows:

  • Fire safety review for the tender package

  • Review of product specification to assist the design team 

  • Review compliance of proposed fire safety systems with the specification

  • Undertake construction queries

  • Update the Fire Strategy with changes made during the Tender stage. This includes re-reviewing topics from B1 - B5 in the fire strategy

* The number of Design reviews are based on the project and are subject to discussions with the client.

** The Fire Strategy Report will be reviewed externally by a qualified fire engineer.

*** Design team/statutory authority meetings are allowed for based on the project.
